“Feeling the Stress of Trauma...let us help!
NewFound Families has partnered with Patrick Henry Family Services, Roanoke County Department of Social Services, and Virginia Department of Family Services to offer a family camp focusing on de-stressing the trauma impact. The camp provides hours of great fun for the kids while parents attend workshops designed to provide the tools necessary to build effective parenting strategies. The workshops incorporate the principles and practices of Trust-based Relational Intervention, a methodology of the Karen Purvis Institute of Child Development.
