Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders – Increasing Awareness

Join us on Thursday, August 23 at 7:00 PM for our webinar, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders – Increasing Awareness. This is an ideal time to increase your awareness of FASD and its impact on the development of children living with their diagnosis. Cindi Maurice will explain FASD, its risks and effects on the child before and after birth; and share resources that may help you overcome the challenges families face when caring for a child with FASD. Ms. Maurice is a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia and has worked in the public schools for several years. She is also a birth, bereaved, former foster, adoptive and kinship mother.
